14 Savvy Ways to Spend Leftover not losing weight in ketosis Budget

Not losing weight on low carb dieting anymore? You're not alone. Unfortunately, even diets that initially worked for you, low carb or not, will stop working if you continue with the same plan. Thankfully there's a cure for this.

™

So why does this happen?

Your body is an amazing piece of work. Instinctively your body and its supporting hormones work to maintain your body just as it is. And this is great, unless the way you are is overweight.

Your metabolism grows accustom to the types and quantity of foods you eat each day and adjusts itself to burn the foods you eat and maintain your current weight. It gauges today's anticipated food availability on the food consumption of yesterday and the day before.

You see, your body expects you to continue eating as you have in the past. Your body has set your metabolism today, based on the amounts and types of food you ate yesterday and the day before.

So if you're eating essentially the same food and quantity of food each and every day, your body will expect it to continue and will adjust your metabolism to burn at such a rate as to maintain your body and your weight just as it is.

No wonder you can't seem to lose weight. You're metabolism has adjusted to your current food intake and is maintaining your weight as is.

So what can you do about it?

The answer to this dilemma is to alter the types of food you eat and your food consumption so your body doesn't have the opportunity to adjust.

Now, if you're like me, you don't want to spend all your free time trying to figure out what you should be eating, in what quantities and at what time. There just aren't enough hours in the day as it is.

What you need is to develop an eating plan which incorporates the different information we just discussed and provides the alternating food types and amounts needed to keep your body's metabolism from adjusting.

If you can do this, armed with this information, you'll end the cycle of not losing weight on low carb dieting, and can lose that weight once and for all.

Do you wonder why you are not losing weight. You eat okay dont you? You do the odd bit of exercise. Well guess what, it is not enough. You must eat properly almost all of the time and you must train often and with intensity. If it were easy, do you think we would be the fattest nation in the world? Do you think if there were some magic tablets or magic exercise that takes only 6 easy minutes there would be so many obese people around. This is going to take some effort and it will have to be permanent changes to your lifestyle. If you go back to the same old habits again, you are just going to end up in the same place you are now. Lets change all that and have a look at the most common reasons why you are not losing weight.

These are real reasons, not some hyped up jargon:

You Eat Too Much

Pretty simple hey. Portion sizes are out of control these days. We dont even know how to stop eating when we are full anymore. I detail correct portion sizes on my website for your information.

You Eat The Wrong Types Of Food

Again, you need to have a good look at what you are eating. Processed foods of any kind should be removed from the diet for the most part. Foods like pasta and bread have little if no nutrition and supply heaps of calories for the smallest size serve

You Drink Too Many Calories

Right now, today, stop drinking any fluids besides water and tea or coffee. Soft drinks (yes even diet ones)fruit juices, cordials, milkshakes, milk, alcoholic drinks etc etc. These do not provide nutrition and do not fill you up. Leave them alone.

You Dont Eat Enough

A lot of people especially women who are 'dieting' or trying to lose weight just dont eat enough which causes their bodies to slow down the metabolism. Starving yourself is not the answer. It may work short term, but any initial weight loss will stop and you will most likely put it back on when you return to normal eating.

You Dont Eat Often Enough

Big mistake. The best plan has you eating every 2 to 3 hours. Yes that often. There are many benefits to this type of eating. It really helps stop bingeing as you know that you will be eating again in less than 2 hours. It also keeps your metabolism firing and can help stabilise out of control blood sugar levels-that is providing you are eating appropriate foods in correct portion sizes.

You Dont Exercise Often Enough Or Intensely Enough Or Both

This is key. You must train with purpose and intensity. You must also train often. I recommend 6 times per week minimum. You dont need to spend hours and hours, but you must train very regularly. As your fitness improves, you will feel better and better and weight loss will come much more easily.

You Do The Wrong Sort Of Exercise

Choosing full body exercise is the best way to get the most fitness and weightloss benefits from training. You do not need lots of expensive equipment to train correctly either. Do not believe the makers of such items. They are just trying to sell you their product. I am not trying to sell any type of exercise equipment, but can tell you what you do and dont need.

You Think That Near Enough Is Good Enough

This is a classic excuse. "But I eat right most of the time" or "But I deserve it I trained so hard" or better still "Just a little bit wont hurt"

Excuses of these kind really brush me up the wrong way. I repeat, this takes commitment and is not easy. If it were, there wouldnt be so many overweight people and so many companies making so much money selling 'easy fix' solutions over and over again. It just doesn't make sense does it. You need to be really honest with yourself. Find yourself a mentor that can help when times are tough, but most of all just get off your butt and do it. Stop making excuses

Excuses

This really should be number one. Excuses, excuses. I have heard them all. "I'm big boned" "It runs in the family" "I work shift hours" "I have kids to look after" " I work/study long hours" "I dont have the equipment" "I just dont have the willpower" "I have tried before" "I dont like healthy food" "I dont have time to cook or prepare meals" "I'm on the road a lot" " I have an old ____ injury or sore something or other" "It just doesn't work for me" blah blah blah, i got fat on keto need I go on. Recognise yourself in any of these statements or is yours a totally different EXCUSE all together?

Take responsibility for your own actions. No one makes you eat the fast food-period. No one makes you sit and watch telly-period. Be accountable for yourself. This leads to excuse oh sorry I mean reason number 10

You Are Lazy

Simple, get off your butt and do something about it. It doesn't matter what excuse you think of. There are many many people in your situation who maintain a healthy weight and keep fit-extremely fit. Do you really think you are the worst off one? Come on. Stop making excuses and do something about it.
